YVROUD, part of the GCC Group (Energy Division), has worked on one of the many worksites related to the extension of the Paris metro lines and particularly line 14.
The latter, of 8.65 km long and currently made of 9 stations, is subject to an extension to the north, up to the town hall of Saint-Ouen and enabling to reduce traffic on line 13.
The resulting increase in traffic requires the use of line 14 with 8 carriages instead of 6 carriages.
This extension is a substantial operational change, which requires adjustment of infrastructures in order to ensure compliance in terms of evacuation.
In this context, RATP has selected YVROUD to carry out studies, supply and work necessary to the tilting of HVAC fluid networks (dry columns, chilled water, hot water, ventilation ducts and smoke extraction, etc.).
And on 20th February, this is when Yvroud delivered the first fan, of a long series to come, at the “Bercy” station.
