HISTORY

YVROUD has built itself solid references over more than 70 years, in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and specific Metalwork.

Thanks to its skills and professionalism, the Company has been given the trust of many investors when achieving projects of a great importance and high technology.

The company created in 1946 by Lucien Yvroud (heating/sanitary) takes off from 1960 after the arrival of Jean Yvroud, graduate of Thermal Engineering, who gradually takes on the head of the company and directs it towards modern technologies (air conditioning, heat recovery, filtering).  In 1970, the Sheet Metalwork and Metal Construction departments were created as well as the Operation and Maintenance Heating department.

In 1985, Mr Yvroud retires, the company was taken over by its Managers and became YVROUD TECHNIQUE DES FLUIDES.  They develop the industrial sector (Pechiney, brine stations, tunnels) and services sector (skating rinks, thermal baths, high schools, buildings located in the mountains), particularly in the context of the Albertville Olympics.

In 1996, the company was bought up by Jérôme Berthet and became YVROUD EUROPEENNE DES FLUIDES.  The historical activities continue :  HVAC, industrial piping, specific metalwork and tunnel ventilation.

Since 2002, the company has become a subsidiary of the GCC Group. In 2016, the company changed its name back to YVROUD again.

On 1st January 2018, Yvroud moved its headquarter from Saint-Jean de Maurienne to Aiton, located between Chambéry and Albertville, and connected with the international airports of Lyon, Geneva and Turin.
